Enhance your EMDR and trauma skills through elevated consultation services. EMDR Consultation focuses on skill building and practice, case review and self-care applications. You’ll learn practical skills that are easy to implement personally and professionally, have time to discuss cases in a safe space and actively practice self-care. All skills will be easily used in telehealth sessions. Consultation can be used toward EMDR Certification.
Deb Del Vecchio-Scully, LPC is a nationally recognized expert in the treatment of trauma and holds Diplomat status as a clinicial mental health specialist in Trauma Counseling. She is EMDR certified and is an EMDRIA approved Consultant. Deb provides counseling and neurofeedback at the Center for NeuroPotential in Branford, CT. Â
Deb is nationally known as a stress and trauma expert, having worked with survivors of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, as well as those impacted by the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. Ms. Del Vecchio-Scully was a Clinical Recovery Leader and Trauma Specialist of the Newtown Recovery and Resiliency Team and was embedded in the Sandy Hook Elementary School as a staff support clinician for two years. Currently, she is a special consultant to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School recovery team and Professionals United for Parkland.
 Deb provides specialty consultation for advanced EMDR practice focusing on Early, preverbal trauma, Complex PTSD, Traumatic Grief, Gun Violence and Communal Violence. She has extensive experience working with Law Enforcement and Emergency Responders.Â
Deb uses a trauma-informed model which encorporates mndfulness, mind-body, and somatic release approaches. Her interventions include Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Neurofeedback, Brainspotting, Biofeedback, Yoga Therapy, Therapeutic Aromatherapy and the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) .
